Ficus glomerata racemosa is a member of the Moraceae family and is native to the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Malaysia. It is known for its unusual cauliflory, where figs grow on or close to the tree trunk. 
The plant has many medicinal properties and is widely cultivated in India. The bark is used to make a paste that is applied to the skin to treat mosquito bites and boils. The leaves are also used in many Hindu havans.
