Sida cordifolia is a perennial subshrub that is native to India. It is now naturalized worldwide and is considered an invasive weed in some areas. It has pale yellow flowers and is somewhat woody, growing up to 1 meter tall. The leaves have prominent veins on the upper surface and the stems are densely covered with soft hairs. 
Sida cordifolia is commonly found in tropical and subtropical areas, as well as in sandy soil. It can be found in waste places, along roadsides, and in deciduous forests.
